Adventure Geek Training Hikes – Build Confidence, Fitness & Friendships 🥾

Are you booked on an Adventure Geek holiday or self-guided trip in 2026? Whether it’s Hadrian’s Wall, the West Highland Way, the Camino de Santiago, the Isle of Man Coastal Path, or even the Albanian Alps, these iconic adventures all have one thing in common – they’re more enjoyable when you’ve trained for them.

That’s where our Training Hikes come in.

Designed for weekends, these walks give you the chance to:

✨ Build stamina and walking fitness at a steady, supportive pace.

✨ Gain confidence in your kit and test what works for you.

✨ Meet fellow adventurers who may even be on the same trip as you.

✨ Enjoy a fun, social day out in the great outdoors (with sweets at the halfway point of course!).

🥾 ABOUT THE WALK 🥾

Although today's walk is shorter than yesterday's, it is much more challenging as we have a few climbs (see the elevation profile on the Alltrails app).

The highlights of today are:-

Leave the delights of Snowshill, and we go down a steep incline, before heading up into the woods.

We follow some of the Cotswolds Way and work our way to the quintessential small town of Broadway via woods and paths.

We will stop for lunch at Broadway, where there are a variety of pubs and cafes to choose from.

All fuelled up, we then leave Broadway and start the climb up to the fabulous Broadway Tower, where we will high-five ourselves for completing such a climb.

We will stop for another coffee and perhaps an ice-cream at Broadway Tower cafe before looping back through the woods towards our finish point.

If we are lucky, we will spot wild deer.

🅿️ PARKING Park at the top car park for Snowshill Manor (overflow car park - see map and W3W link). This is a National Trust Property, so if you are a member then please bring your NT card.

☕️ REFRESHMENTS: Bring refreshments with you, but we will stop at a cafe on the walk.

🎒 WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU

• If you are carrying a pack on your adventure, please bring this along.
• Walking poles (if you use them).
• A drink
• Good walking shoes or boots are essential.
• Wet weather gear (if the weather is bad).

• We walk in all weathers, however, if we have a weather warning then the event may be cancelled. Keep an eye on your emails and the Facebook event page for notifications of any cancellations.
• We supply free sweets at the halfway stage.
